Shrimp Festival, Fernandina Beach, Florida
The biggest annual event held on the barrier island of Amelia in northeast Florida is the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival. Watch festival scenes including live musical entertainment (the Swingin'Medallions), the Shrimp Festival parade, the Fun Zone, fine arts and crafts show, and scenes of historic Fernandina Beach. (Shrimp Festival always the first weekend in May.)
