- My husband Ron and I are preparing to make a move to
Amelia Island. We have been going there off and on for about the past fifteen years and feel 'at home' there. We are retired educators. Ron was a teacher/administrator and I a teacher/high school counselor. I have a sister who lives in Ponte Vedra, which also factored into our move.
- What Do You Enjoy Most About Amelia Island, Florida if you live here or visit?
- Amelia Island is very 'laid back'. In it's 13.5 miles, it has a little bit of everything, from the historic district and Fort Clinch to resorts. It is also close to other places we enjoy, such as Savannah and St. Augustine.
