DESCRIPTION:AMELIA ISLAND FILM FESTIVAL -- Filmmakers will gather on A
 melia Island, Florida for the 5-day event to be held on this barrier i
 sland from February 25 to March 1st, 2010. A wide variety of films are
  presented during the film festival, including: <i>“Feature films, s
 horts, Animation, Documentary, Narrative Fiction, Northeast Florida &a
 mp; Southeast Georgia Special Interest, Action, Adventure, Comedy, Dra
 ma, Educational, Horror, Musical, Romantic Comedy, Satire Social Issue
 , and Sci-Fi films.”</i>  The festival also has a category, <i>\"Am
 elia Island Home Videos.\"</i> According to their mission statement, t
 he Amelia Island Film Festival is <i>“committed to providing the stu
 dent and independent filmmaker a venue to screen their films.”</i>\n
 Films will be screened at various venues in historic Fernandina Beach,
  including at City Hall, Indigo Alley, and the Intercoastal Wine Compa
 ny. The ticket price to attend a single screening is $10. The <i>“Pr
 esident’s Choice Screening”</i> will be held at Hampton Inn &amp; 
 Suites ($15 admission). <b>\nLove films and being on the water?</b> Th
 ere’s also a special event, <i>“Sail with the Filmmakers,”</i> s
 ponsored by Cumberland Sound Ferry on Friday, February 26, 2010. Take 
 a ferry ride ($22 per person roundtrip with $5 of each ticket going ba
 ck to the AIFF). Enjoy a sail with the filmmakers from Fernandina Beac
 h to St. Marys, Georgia, with views of Amelia Island, FL and Cumberlan
 d Island, GA. There will also be a welcome and reception by the St. Ma
